Casa Rinconada's Great Kiva is the largest excavated kiva in Chaco Canyon. It is one of the largest in the entire Chacoan world. It is large enough to hold several hundred people at one time and is believed to have been a central structure in the ceremonial life of the people. Around the giant kiva are a number of other structures associated with small villages. |
