Escalante National Monument - Calf Creek Trail - Summer |

The Trailhead for Lower Calf Creek Trail is located on Utah Highway 12 fifteen miles east of the town of Escalante. The trail follows Calf Creek for about three miles to Lower Calf Creek Falls. An excellent rock art site can be seen from the trail. Mineral stained navajo sandstone cliffs along the way and a beautiful cool oasis at the falls at the end of the trail. Very little shade until the falls - take plenty of water and wear a hat. |
